Coming back to the library
Starting this week students will be coming for orientation and checkout. I will have the opportunity to introduce the Book Blog and find out how students respond.
Will you enjoy this way of communicating about what you are reading? Why?
What are your top reasons for coming to the library? Do you see the library as a tool in your plan for school success? How does that work for you?
yes i think of the library as a resourse it has refrences and a bunch of facts
sorry to say but alot of kids simply go to the library as a way of getting out of class. I on the other hand enjoy the library and even though i’m not big on reading ( because it gives me a headache) i should be getting glasses soon and hopefully that will clear up the headache thing and i can start getting into some good books.
I agree with BandFreak. Alot of kids just goof around @ the library when others are trying 2 work. I see it as a relaxing place that you can just curl up and read at. It is a very helpful resourse too!
I love the library It’s fun There is a bunch of stuff you can do in there. You can read a book or magizene of do reasearch or just hang out with your friends while reading a magizene
I like the Book Blog. It gives me a way to learn what books are good, and to tell other people about books that i have read. I like the library, because it is a good way to challenge your self by reading books that are higher than your level. You also get to discover things that you might not have know about before you read a book. It helps me. It helped me figure out that i love to read and i would rather do that than sit in front of the t.v. all day long. The library is a place that helps me learn a great deal about the world and every thing that is in it. It also gives my imagination time to put itself to work. Even fantasy books you learn something new, you learn that authors have different styles to write in and sometimes on different books they change their style.
