I think it’s a great passage about how reading helps someone learn and helps encourage people to keep reading. It also ask how the reader feels about reading if the reader likes to read or does he read just because he has to read I think that’s important to understand if someone likes to read or not that is what I think this passage is trying to tell people and it also ask the reader what they like about reading.

I like to read as soon as I get home from school. It lets your mind relax after a long day. I agree with Tad when he said "I also prefer to make my own images in my head of the characters in the book, though seeing what the author drew is a good experience." It is better to use your own images then to see exactly what the author wants you to see. I think books are great because they let you go anywhere you want without leaving your home. It calms and makes me relaxed and sleepy. I find reading to be slow, no rush or pressure.
